These Seller Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Lokbuy platform by sellers who wish to list and sell products on our marketplace. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Eligibility to Sell
To become a seller on Lokbuy, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered business or individual with legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including tax and consumer protection regulations.
Lokbuy reserves the right to reject or remove any seller account that does not meet these requirements.
2. Seller Registration
To sell on Lokbuy, you must create a seller account by providing necessary information such as:
- Your business name and contact details.
- Bank account information for payment processing.
- Valid government-issued ID or business registration details, if required.
Once registered, you will receive access to the seller dashboard, where you can manage your listings, orders, and payments.
3. Product Listings
As a seller, you are responsible for:
- Listing products that are legally allowed to be sold on the platform.
- Ensuring that all product descriptions, images, and details are accurate, complete, and not misleading.
- Pricing products in a clear and transparent manner.
Prohibited Products: The following products are strictly prohibited from being listed:
- Counterfeit goods
- Items violating intellectual property rights
- Dangerous or illegal products
Lokbuy reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies or applicable laws.
4. Seller Responsibilities
By selling on Lokbuy, you agree to:
- Process orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure the quality of the products listed for sale.
- Honor all commitments to buyers, including shipping, delivery, and customer support.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations, including those related to taxes, returns, and refunds.
5. Fees and Payments
Lokbuy charges a transaction fee for each sale made through the platform. The fee percentage will be clearly stated on your seller dashboard. Payments to sellers are processed on a bi-weekly basis, subject to the minimum payment threshold of ₹500.

6. Order Fulfillment and Shipping
Sellers are responsible for:
- Timely processing and dispatch of orders.
- Ensuring that the products reach the buyers in a secure and timely manner.
- Providing accurate tracking information and delivery updates to the buyers.
In the event of delayed shipments or undelivered orders, sellers must communicate promptly with the buyer to resolve the issue.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Sellers are responsible for handling returns, refunds, and order cancellations according to the following guidelines:
- Returns: Sellers must accept returns as per the return policy outlined on the platform.
- Refunds: Refunds will be issued if the buyer receives faulty or incorrect items, or if the order cannot be fulfilled.
- Cancellations: Sellers should process cancellations within 24 hours of receiving the buyer’s request.
Lokbuy will assist in resolving disputes related to returns, refunds, and cancellations when necessary.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute between a seller and a buyer, Lokbuy will attempt to resolve the issue by:
- Reviewing the evidence provided by both parties.
- Mediating the communication to reach an amicable solution.
If a resolution cannot be reached, Lokbuy reserves the right to take necessary actions, including withholding payments, removing listings, or terminating the seller’s account.
9. Termination of Seller Account
Lokbuy reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller’s account in the following cases:
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions or platform policies.
- Engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities.
- Providing false or misleading information during the registration process.
- Repeated failure to meet shipping, delivery, or product quality standards.
Sellers whose accounts are terminated will not be entitled to any pending payments until all outstanding issues are resolved.
10. Changes to Seller Terms and Conditions
Lokbuy reserves the right to modify or update these Seller Terms and Conditions at any time. Sellers will be notified of significant changes via email or through the seller dashboard. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
